Regulatory Oversight & Compliance
NSF/ANSI/CAN 60
CHEM-SULT products used in drinking water applications are certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 standards by the Water Quality Association (WQA), which operates the industry's oldest third-party testing and certification program. This certification ensures that our manufacturing processes and materials meet strict industry guidelines. To maintain certification, companies must retest their products regularly and undergo annual facility inspections to confirm ongoing compliance with industry standards.

PHMSA
As a transporter of hazardous materials, CHEM-SULT is required to file an annual registration with the U.S. Department of Transportation and is subject to the Hazardous materials (HazMat) regulations found in Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Parts 100–185.
FMCSA/DOT
FMCSA is the federal agency responsible for regulating and ensuring the safety of commercial motor vehicles. As a company that operates its own fleet of delivery trucks, CHEM-SULT is dedicated to
supporting roadway safety and consistently strives to maintain
our high safety rating.
EPA
Certain chemicals used in water treatment to disinfect or control microbiological growth are classified as antimicrobial pesticides and are regulated by the EPA as registered pesticides. Facilities that produce these pesticides must be registered with the EPA and undergo routine audits to ensure continued compliance with
applicable regulations.
